Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1278, ADCPRO, ADS1274, ADS1278EVM-PDK
I am trying to run the evaluation board for the ADS1278 (ADS1274EVM-PDK), but I am not having much luck getting ADCPro to run correctly.
The installation instructions for ADCPro talk about installing a launcher app named adcpro-launcher-x.x.x.exe, but I have not been able to find this file anywhere.
I followed the website links for the 'ADCPro Software', and downloaded and installed the file named adcpro-wlvrt-2.0.1.exe
The installation instructions then talk about using the launcher to install the main application followed by the desired EVM plugins. In my case, after installing adcpro-wlvrt-2.0.1.exe and running the 'ADCPro' application, I just get an 'empty shell'...no launcher of anything like what is described in the installation instructions. Obviously, clicking on the 'EVM' menu does not show any installed EVMs...
Also, as I was typing this question, the 'forum' suggested other posts that seem to indicate plugin download functionality has been disabled, and you can download individual plug-ins ...so I have a feeling I'm trying to get this thing to work with outdated documentation...hopefully someone has gone through this before and can point me in the right direction....
