In one of my recent design, I am using ADS1114. Although my design is working fine, got confused after reading the complete data sheet.
Q. The part ADS1114 has AIN0 and AIN1. What I understood is, it has 1-Differential I/P and 1- Single ended I/P (As per the tabular data on Page 2 of datasheet). But in Page 4, Table: Pin Configuration, it is mentioned that AIN0 is single-ended channel 1 input and AIN1 is single-ended channel 2 input. Does it mean that it's a dual channel ADC. If it is a single channel, what to do with AIN1 if I am using the ADS in single ended mode (I am getting correct reading only after connecting AIN1 to GND) ?
