Hi there,

I'm currently engage in a project which is Touch screen remote controller.

Our side plan to use the Monochrome LCD.

May i know did TSC2000 support this monochrome LCD?

How about TSC2046? Can the IC support the monochrome LCD also?

Please advice.

Hi Jian Sheng,

One thing I would like to clarify first is that neither TSC2000 or TSC2046 is able to drive any LCD. However, both of them can work with a 4-wire resistive touch screen panel. Basically, if this monochrome LCD module has a 4-wire touch screen interface, both of them are OK. Personally I would suggest you try TSC2046E (a better version of TSC2046) since the TSC2000 is relatively an old device.

Hi Jian Sheng,

I think you are referring to the TSC2046E, right? The TSC2046E is a resistive touch controller only and NOT designed to work with capacitive touch panels.

Hi Jason,

Unfortunately, our BU no longer supported any capacitive touch projects since the mid of 2014. Literally, there is no capacitive touch controller in the TSC family now.
