Hi,
I recently bought the AFE 4403 EVM module(watch) from SVtronics. I installed the following GUI from TI website, as instructed in the user guide.( AFE4403EVM GUI v2.0.7 (Rev. A) ). After the GUI installation, I installed the USB driver as well by following the instructions in the user guide.
Since I wanted to evaluate the OSRAM SENSOR board, I upgraded the firmware with the following file “HRMWatch_v2.2-OSRAM Sensor.txt” availabe in svtronics website. I upgraded via USB based firmware upgrade from the GUI. After the new firmware upgrade, I am seeing connectivity issues between the PC and the EVM. I am not seeing any virtual COM port in my device manger now. Also, whenever I launch the GUI, it says the hardware is not connected properly and I am forced to go into simulation mode.
I understand from the forums that it is a firmware issue. Is there any other way to change the firmware without using the flash emulator, since I dont have it ??. Please advice.
