Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Hi Brian,

Let me check with our software team to see what could be causing this problem.

While I do that can you please try the following steps to see if it helps?

-Power Cycle the EVM, unplug the USB.

-close HSDC Pro, power cycle Win7.

-Power up TSW14J56, plug USB into PC

    -Start HSDC Pro.

This may resolve the issue.  If not I will come back with some ideas from our software team as to what could be triggering this error.

    Ken.

  • Brian,

Can you confirm if the TSW14J56 is a regular one (USB2 mini cable) or a rev D (USB3 2 segment white cable)?

    Ken.
  • Hi Ken,

Issue still exists after following the steps above.
    This is a RevD PCB.
We also have a Rev B board that I just tried. First difference noted was that after downloading the firmware the GUI reports the Interface Type in the lower right corner. Using the Rev D board I get a pop up that says "No firmware. Please select a device to load firmware into the board".
So most likely makes sense to solve this issue first.

    Thanks for the support
    -Brian
  • Brian,

It looks like our factory Apps is working with you through the field apps ?(Jeff C).

Lets work through that channel 1st and then post back here once the issue is resolved. That way we don't have to double post multiple times.

    Ken.
  • Sounds good thanks.
