DDC and Diode Polarity

Hi,

Are the DDC chips limited to one polarity of diode? I have an array where the substrate is common to all diodes and this work for an n-substrate, but is it possible to configure the DDC to operate with the reverse, a p-substrate, where the current is flowing in the opposite direction.

Thanks in advance for any advice on this.

It's not optimal, but you can do this by creating an offset to the DDC. There is an applications note that describes how to do it, with some descriptions on what problems you might have. The applications note is "CREATING A BIPOLAR INPUT RANGE FOR THE DDC112" can be downloaded here:
