sensor for the wrist

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE4490

hello I would like to make a device to read the values of spo2 directly from the wrist!
I saw that you have created a "wrist brace" that does this and uses a sensor called DCM03.
This is the name of the document I'm talking about: AFE4490_with_DCM03_Measurement_Results.pdf
I wanted to know so if you got good results from this type of reading, or change from wrist to wrist?
Another question, where can I buy this sensor DCM03?
Or do you recommend using a different sensor? If the answer is yes, what do you recommend?

Thanks for your help

  • Hello Gabriele,

We have not done exhaustive testing across wrists using DCM03 sensor.
The list of LEDs and PDs tested with AFE44xx for HRM is listed in the FAQs of the Medical forum.
We do not have a recommendation for an optical sensor to measure spo2 directly from the wrist.
