Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1293
I am currently a Senior in Electrical Engineering and working on my Senior Design project. My team needs to implement an Electromyography (EMG) Sensor. We would like to use an Analog Front End (AFE) rather than a system of analog filters to implement this in order to save board space and hopefully power. For our project, we will need at least 2 bipotential inputs (sensing on two separate muscles)
In the past the ADS1293 has been recommended for use as our Analog Front End. Has this chip every been used for EMG in the past? If so, is there any more information on the configuration? If not, is there another AFE that would be recommended in place of the ADS1293 for EMG sensing?
