Hello again,

This is probably my last question about the ADS52J90.The max frequency is listed as 70Mz and our input signal will be a 40Mz square wave with a max amplitude of 2v pp.  What is the slew rate and settling time of the input, is this part the right choice and if not would you suggest a different part for our application?  Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

    What ADC resolution is required? Only 10-bit mode supports a sampling rate (100MHz) that would allow for 1st Nyquist sampling. 14-bit mode has a max fs of 65MHz in which case an input at 40MHz would be sub-sampled and performance would be significantly degraded. Perhaps with a bit more information of what is trying to be achieved we can recommend an appropriate device.
