Hi, folks

Do you have matching characteristics between ranges within channel?

Our customer wants to do calibration between ranges for super fine measurement results.

1) If you have a matching char data between ranges, could you show us the results?

2) If you do not have, we would like to measure each 12.5pC step by using test mode.

Is the test mode is suitable for such evaluation?

Our customer does not matter for absolute value for each 12.5pC step test packet value.

The "matching" is important.

If you have another way how to know matching btwn ranges, could you please let me know the method?

Sorry for the delay,

No we do not spec the matching between ranges since the matching between each integration capacitor can cause small gain error. Given this, each range should still be within its datasheet spec.

You can try the test mode test. The injected charge should be constant but we know there will also be some noise injected so it will be helpful to average the results over several samples or captures.

Each device can vary from one to the next and external conditions as well as PCB and external components can differ. In the end the customer will need to do calibration on a per-system basis in order to get the accuracy they are looking for.
