I want to known about Complete circuit and functional block diagram of interfacing msp430 and ads1298 for ECG. So that i can easily design pcb and connect electrods.

Such a circuit does not exist for this device. You will have to design it yourself.

Harsh,

They will be connected in a standard SPI master-slave configuration. The DIN on the ADS1298 corresponds to the MOSI line and DOUT is MISO. The DRDY pin is an interrupt pin which you will use to signal the processor that a new conversion is ready.

Unfortunately I do not have a design readily available for that exact combination. You will have to design the circuit. I am happy to answer specific questions about the usage or performance of the ADS1298 and even provide you with suggestions or advice, but unfortunately I cannot design the board for you.

Hello,

I want to ask about which device of TI is better to connect with ads1298 because I think there is no memory in ads1298 But we need memory(??)

I want to Design my own PCB so pls suggest some good product .

Hey Harsh,

How much memory do you need? The answer will depend on how you are going to use the data you collect. If you plan on sending the data to the PC immediately and in real-time, you probably do not need much memory. If you plan on collecting all the data first, you will need enough memory to store all of the data plus the code that the controller executes plus any variables that you create.

I plan to sending the data directly to PC immediately which microcontrolller is best for that .

Hello Harsh,

My guess is that you could easily use an MSP430. It will be low power, cheap, and easy to program.
