In ADS1298 datasheet (http://www.ti.com/product/ADS1298/datasheet/layout#SBAS4592863), "Layout guideline" there is this statement:
Treat the AVSS pin as a sensitive analog signal and connect directly to the supply ground with proper shielding. Leakage currents between the PCB traces can exceed the input bias current of the ADS129x if shielding is not implemented. Keep digital signals as far as possible from the analog input signals on the PCB.
What does mean "proper shielding" in this context? I ask because I do not quite understand what is all about in the context - it means the correct layer stackup or need additional tracks or polygons for shielding?
