DAC8750: mutli-channel design with several IC's sharing the same Analog & digital power-supplies

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC8750

The CerTIfed reference design provided is for a single-channel.  I'm designing a multi-channel output card, and just want to verify there are no issues if multiple DAC8750 devices share the same Analog & Digital power rails.

Note that the output-channels in my case all go to the same remote location so creating ground loops is not a concern.

Also, the documentation for the reference design is outstanding.  Please thank the authors!!!

  • Hi Kevin,

I can't foresee any problems from using the same rails as long as enough current can be supplied to all for DACs simultaneously.

I will make sure to let the authors know that you liked their reference design. I'm sure they will be very glad to hear this.
