Sampling rate mismatch of ADS1278

Hi,

I am using two ADS 1278 IC in a single board for a 16 channel ADC configuration. Both the ADC are of following configuration :

FORMAT[2,1,0] = [GND,GND,GND]; -- SPI,TDM format

MODE[1,0] = [GND,+3.3V]; -- High Resolution mode

CLK frequency = 131,072 Hz; SCLK =131,072 Hz;

But the Sampling rate(S.R) of the first  ADC is twice of the another. The first one is sampling at 256 but the second one is sampling at 512. Even with doubling the CLK frequency to 262144 the S.R increased to 512 in one and 1024 in another.

The SYNC pin is always HIGH;

I have to mention that the circuit of both the ADC is  same and dont know why the error as occured. Could this be because of a faulty IC?

Please help me out with this issue.
