Hi,

What are the different configuration for ADS1298 RESET Line?

1. Can we use this RESET line only with HW configuration by pulling RESET Line to always High? without SW configuration?

2. In ADS 1298 Datasheet it is mentioned as RESET line pulling to Low and another method to send RESET Opcode - For ADS1298 RESET through SW is must requirement?

Hello Harish,

You can tie the RESET pin high in hw or you can control it using a microprocessor, whichever is more convenient for your design. You will need to issue a RESET at startup, but this can be done both with a RESET command or by toggling the RESET pin.

Hi,

RESET Line HW control will not work?

I want to try, connecting RESET line permanently to Pull High without connecting RESET line to Controller.

At the start up instead of toggling RESET line, can i RESET/toggle the Power supply of ADS1298?

Hey Harish,

You can tie the RESET pin high in hardware and at startup you would just issue a RESET command. You cannot RESET the device by toggling the power supplies.
