ADS1293 replace the crystal by an oscillator

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1293

Hello,

We are trying to find a low size (less than 25mm²) & very precise (30ppm) solution to clock the ADS1293.

In a first time, we planned to clock the CLK input pin with a 400kHz external oscillator. Unfortunately, we didn't manged to find precise oscillator solution at 400kHz.

We now planned to use a 4,096MHz external crystal oscillator and inject the clock at XTALx pin. Is it possible to do this? Shall we place a resisitive dividor bridge before XTALx input? Among XTAL1 & XTAL2, what is the input pin (usual OSCIN)?

Thank you for your response,

BR,

Guillaume
