I received the LATEST BOARD THREE DAYS mmb BOM e . I get error firmware not loaded. Sometimes I get a DSP failure? I tried using NI loader and install the bin folder in the fw folder. Still the software times out. I looked at my control panel and I did not see any yellow flags. I am using Windows 7 (64 bit)

Hi Philip,

Can you expand on what you mean when you say you used the NI loader? I'm not aware of any issues with the ADS1299ECG-FE software running under Win 7, but I'll look into that for you.

Thank you so much for responding so quickly.

I have tried OpenBCI, and a Bluetooth android system. I was unsuccessful.

I found a Labview firmware loader programmer. It runs about 50% and then crashes. I tried this program in the 64 bit and 64 bit mode. The last time I tried to install from TI website.

I checked the drivers. NO MBO seen.

Hey Philip,

When you originally installed the software, do you remember installing the EVM Hardware Drivers? This would have looked like section 3.3 of the EVM User's Guide. If you can't remember, perhaps try uninstalling and reinstalling the software following those instructions exactly. Then when the problem occurs, you can tell me exactly what went wrong from what occurs in the instructions in the User's Guide.

The USB driver between the PC and the device manager is interment? Sometimes it is present. And other times it drops out?

Hey Philip,

I've never seen that problem before. Are you sure this is not an issue with the USB cable connection? What specifically do you see when it drops out?

I changed cable and did a soft reboot. I cannot load firmware? Can you load the software at TI? I am getting frustrated with the install process?

Hey Philip,

I'm sorry that you're having trouble. Yes we are able to run the EVM here. When you initially installed the software, did you see steps 3.3 and 3.3.1 how they look in the User's Guide?
