How to power ADS8330?

Hello,

I have a question about the power management of ADS8330.

Is it possible to power VA+ and VBD+ independent of each other?

That means I would like to shut down VBD+ if the device is not in use.

I know that there are Power Down Modes but i would prefer to shut down the power supply of VBD+.

Hello Dejan,

Yes, shut down VBD+ if the device is not in use.

My recommendation would be to put the device into deep power-down mode before you remove VBD+. Also, please make sure to issue a reset after bringing VBD+ back up and before you perform the first conversion.

Hello Jose,

However I would like to shut down VA before VBD.

Is it necessary to execute the same recommendation for the power up phase?
