ADC128S102 Semiconductor Node Size?

I'm looking for the semiconductor node size to perform a reliability assessment for a major space agency. They are considering using this part in their system. I plan to model the system and produce a time to failure estimate.

Nathan,

Typically, process node size is proprietary information and not something we disclose without an NDA.

However, MTBF information can be found in the product folder under the "Quality and Packaging" tab. For the ADC128S102, you can find it here:

I understand. After checking that calculator I have a few questions: How does TI calculate their activation energy to be 0.7 eV and what is the "particular process" they are attempting to model?

Nathan,

The 0.7eV activation energy is a commonly used value for semiconductor processes.

The value is often derived from HTOL tests for a variety of devices, but the source of error can be anything from oxide and assembly defects, contamination, mask/photo errors, and even voltage stresses. It covers a wide variety of possible errors and it's not one specific defect that is modeled.
