BECAUSE:

1.I find a tantalum cap it's very tiny,so I want to know the model.

2.People tell me that the DGND and the AGND must connect in one point ,I am curious how can you handle the case.

Hi,

The ADS1278EVM gerber files can be found in this post:

Note that the file may be labled as Rev E, but I believe that they are Rev F based on the comments this post:

e2e.ti.com/.../431912

At this point, I haven't been able to find the BOM for the MMB0. Is there a particular component that you are curious about?

As for the AGND and DGND connection. We generally recommend that there be one ground plane. This prevents ground bouncing, and different ground loop voltages from affecting the operation of the device.

If it helps, you can layout the analog and digital grounds separately, but then connect them together under the devices. You should still consider the effect of ground currents for the analog and digital sections.

A colleague checked the BOM of the MMB0, and the only tantalum capacitor is a Kemet T494A686K006AT.
