I would like to design in a data converter from the ADC34J4x family to replace a design with a competitor's JESD204B ADC and was wondering if someone could help resolve two issues that came up.
Looking at the ADC34J42, I'd like to use all 4 channels of the ADC while keeping the JESD204B lane count as low as possible. Section 9.3.5.3 of the datasheet for the family shows an LMFS configuration for 4 lanes and 2 lanes. Is a single lane option possible when using a channel count of 4?
Additionally, is there support for using the High Speed Data Converter Pro Software with this family of ADCs?
