Hello everyone,
I have another query about ads8688. We want to measure the signal with floating ground (i.e with respect to IC ground), without connecting negative terminal to the IC ground in order to protect the circuit from reverse polarity. Is this possible without using any external reverse polarity protection circuits?

Hi Varaprasad,
I understand your concern but ADS8688 only supports single-ended input and its negative pins (AIN_nGND) are limited between -0.3V to +0.3V as described in the table below and shown in datasheet as well, the ADC can't work properly if the restricted condition is violated, so you will have to consider external additional circuit or select other type ADC.
