Hello,

I have TSW14J56 EVM and and ADS54J60 EVM. Both work great with the GUI tools provided by TI.

Now I would like to make some changes to the firmware provided by TI and check it out. I am able to compile the code and program FPGA using JTAG. Now I need to configure the firmware for ADS54J60 EVM. how do I transfer the parameters as detailed in ADS54J60_LMF_8224.ini? Which API does that? Also I need to change the ADC output data rate? How do I change that?

Please let me know.

Hi Mallesh

If your modified firmware is still capable of working with the High Speed Data Converter DLL you should be able to use the Automation functions found here in the HSDC Pro install directory:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\High Speed Data Converter Pro\HSDCPro Automation DLL

There is a user manual and some examples in this sub-folder.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\High Speed Data Converter Pro\HSDCPro Automation DLL\Manual and Examples

Thanks a lot Jim. It is working now.

I would like to add some registers of my own to the FPGA firmware.

Can you please tell me the register set of TSW14J56 firmware?

Or you can tell me an address space which is not used. I will use that space.

Register set will be very useful if you can share it with us.

Also, I need to start the GUI before I start running my code to start capturing samples.

Is there anyway to avoid starting the GUI? Please let me know.
