Can I use the isolators ISO742x to isolate an analog signal?

The thing is I want to isolate an analog current sensor signal so I can send it safely to the MCU's ADC, is it possible to use this CI to this purpose? if not(wich I think it's more likely), any ideas? simple ones please.

Hi Sergio,

If you want to use ADC inside MCU and isolate the current sense signal before it reaches MCU, then you may want to use AMC1100, AMC1200, AMC1300 (latest family). I am moving your post to Precision Data Converter Forum to get you a right recommendation.

Hi Sergio,

As Koteshwar mentioned, the AMC1100, AMC1200 and AMC1301 are all analog isolation amplifiers rather than digital isolators such as the ISO742x devices. What sort of analog signal are you trying to isolate?
