ADS54J60 JESD204B interface FPGA source VHDL/Verilog available?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS54J60

Hello,

I have an FMC module from Hitech Global (HTG-ADC16) with two ADS54J60 devices on it that I'm trying to connect to an FPGA board with a Kintex Ultrascale device on it.  I am new to the JESD204B interface and am looking for any kind of project with source VHDL or Verilog available to use as a starting point.  Is there firmware available for any of the TI EVM that are used to evaluate the JESD204B devices?  Does anyone have any other suggestions for how to get started here?

Thanks!

  • David,

Go the TSW14J10EVM product folder on the TI website and you can down sample firmware from Xilinx. This covers the Kintex and Virtex family.

Go to the Xilinx JESD204 lounge you can download the file called "JESD204B_UltraScale_Hardware_Demo_2015_2.zip".

By default this will build a hardware loopback demo. But if you run the command set TARGET “TI”

before running the build_it.tcl script it will build the demo for TI EVM’s.

    Regards,

    Jim
