ADS1293 rhythmic noise or oscillation

Has anyone ever dealt with the ADS1293 going into a mode where the ECG signal looks like Wide complex Tachycardia or some other faster periodic rhythm?

Hi Sean,

Is this an additional signal riding on top of the ECG signal? It is probably some type of noise getting into the part. Are all of wires and sensors connected well?

Can you send a picture of the waveforms, normal and with the additional noise?

Hi Sean,

Is the ADS1293 connected to a ECG generator? Could it be going into a mode where it sends out this signal for a short time?

No, this is live patient data. But the arrhythmias are not real. It looks like a strange oscillation that the chip is into.

Hi Sean,

A couple of other things to check. Is there the possibility that something is causing interference with the setup...fluorescent light ballasts, equipment, motors, fans...?

Are all the wires and sensors secure? Is the person moving and something temporarily coming loose for a short amount of time?
