Hi,

I have questions about power-supply sequence of AFE4404.

Please answer the questions.

Is it possible to stand up stimulously RX_SUP and TX_SUP?

If there is minimum provision of time between RX_SUP and TX_SUP ramping up, please tell me this value.

Can I think that time between RX_SUP and TX_SUP ramping up is the time from RX reaches the threshold voltage until the TX will reaches the threshold?

Refer to section 10 of the AFE4404 datasheet for the details about the power supply sequencing.

To answer your questions.
1. yes the TX_SUP and RX_SUP can be turned on at the same time if possible.
2. I am checking this with the design team. What is the ramp-up of the transmitter and receiver supplies in your design?
3. Yes that is correct.

It means t2 In table 79 of datasheet.

Examples of 10 seconds has been given, however, Is there a minimum provision?

Can TX_SUP stand up before RX_SUP?

Hi Yoshida-san,

There is no minimum time for the t2 spec.
It is recommended to ramp up the supplies together or ramp up RX_SUP first followed by TX_SUP within 10 ms.
