Hi,

My customer is considering to use ADS1192 and they would like to decrease current consumption.

So they hopes followings;

1. ADS1192 doesn't output status every time.

Because They would like to decrease number of clock as little as possible.

2. ADS1192 outputs data without /CS asserting.

Because they wouldn't like to work the MCU.

I think that it is difficult to implement above condition.

Hi Kuramochi,

I'm sorry to say that there is no way to turn off the status bytes in the ADS1192 output stream. You can leave chip select asserted low though, so no issues there as long as the ADS1192 is the only device on the SPI bus.
