Hello,
So I'm using TSW14J56 to capture the data from ADC12J4000. I have two TSW14J56 boards and I'm assuming one of the board is probably broken!
I have tested using exactly ADC configuration files and FPGA firmware for the two boards, one is able to capture data correctly, however the other board shows me an error, below is the error:
so for the not working board, D3 is always on which means SYNC Failure. But I can't think of anything I could possible do wrong! Since I did exactly same thing to the other board and it is working properly. So I suspect if it is a physical damage for the board. But I want to find out what is the root cause, so I can avoid this mistake when testing with the working board.
Thank you
Angela
Hi Angela
Are both TSW14J56EVMs the same revision? If the revisions are different, which one is having the capture error?
For both boards can you provide a screenshot of the High Speed Data Converter Pro GUI after connecting to the TSW14J56EVM and configuring for capture, but before trying to do the first capture?
Best regards,
Jim B
