Hello,
We have been using the AMC1210 demodulator with two AMC1203 delta sigmas for several prototype runs now with no problems. All of a sudden, we are seeing many field failures in which the impedance of the pins drops drastically. In particular, the SH1 pin and the MCLK/MDAT pins go from ~750kOhm baseline impedance, to as low as 100 Ohms. Signal integrity appears to be fine, no significant overshoot. Also, this is basically the same layout as the prototypes which worked fine for months under the same conditions.
My question is are there any known bad lots of the AMC1210? If so, what date codes are suspect? Has anyone else seen these types of failures in their application? Thank you.
