SNR clarification on TIGAR tool

Hello,

We are using ADC in one of our project and ADC performance is visualized by TI-TIGAR tool.But SNR value measured here shows always a -ve value.

I would like to know from TIGAR team why they chose to measure it as -ve.

Hi Anand

The SNR value reported in TIGAR is actually the integrated noise with respect to the full scale of the ADC. That is why it is listed as a negative number in units of dBFS.
