I'm using ADS131e04 and the max sampling rate that I can reach is 16Khz (with 32 and 64 Khz programmed) .

Hello Brahem,

What specifically is happening? Are you probing the DRDY pin and seeing the frequency as 16 kHz when the device is programmed to output faster?

Hey Brahem,

The device is programmed to power up in the 32 kSPS data rate. Are you saying it powers up in 16 kSPS? Were you able to read the CONFIG1 register to verify that bits [2:0] corresponded to either 16 kSPS or 32 kSPS? Could you configure the datarate any lower?

Hello Brian,
data rates are OK from 1 to 16 kbs ,32 and 64 ads run at 16kbs , and CONFIG1" 000 and 001" is OK . (and one other thing from my last issue if i don't read back from the ads i will get no more DRDY)

Brahem,

Were you able to observe this on the scope? Otherwise a common problem people have is not being able to read data out fast enough at high data rates which leads to the appearance that the device is not sampling fast enough.
