My AFE4400 did not come alive when I turn on the power supply. I solder my AFE4400 without using hot air gun, so there is a chance the connection is not good. Certain pins are shorted internally so I know they were soldered well. My schematic looks exactly the same as Figure 108 (page 72) on the data sheet except I left some pins open. I left pin 1,2,14,15 open because I wanted to test SPI connection first before I test my LED and photodiode. Few things I have found odd: TX_REF is roughly the same voltage (instead of the default voltage 0.75V) as the TX_CTRL_SUP and BG is at 0V. I do not see any signal from CLK_OUT. Finally, SPI communication does not work. What I mean is I do not see any signal from SPISOMI when I tried to read data in a register (I enabled SPI_READ register bit).
