Dear Friends,

We would like to interface our OMAP L138 LCDK with ADS1602 EVM using 5-6k interface platform. Unfortunately, I cannot find any manual or examples. Do you have any example or suggestions regarding how we should approach this problem?

Hi Yung YU,

The OMAP-L138 Development Kit is not compatible with the 5-6K Interface board. That interface board was used with the older DSK series kits like the TMS320C6713DSK which had two 80-pin connectors that provided access to the serial ports and parallel data bus of the DSP. You would have to blue-wire the serial interface from the LCDK to the ADS1602EVM directly.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I'm also a part of Prof. Yu's project.
Is there any tutorial on how to blue-wire the serial interface from the LCDK to the ADS1602EVM directly?
Please give us some advice on where to begin, any tutorial or document is highly appreciated.
