ADC required 5MSPS or highr

Hi,

1. i have a application where I need a parallel adc at 5MSPS or higher with 12 bit or higher.
2. Input voltage range: +-5V
3. Interface: parallel
4. Interface microcontroller voltage: 3.3V
5. Supply: Good if it can be powered from single positive supply. Like in Max1300 we can give only single supply but can measure bipolar.((OPtional)). Otherwise I can give bipolar supply also.

6. External buffer/opamp: Better if not required. Otherwise I can add

I don't believe TI has any ADCs that meet all of those requirements.

I would recommend using an op-amp circuit to reduce the analog signal range to align with the input voltage range of an appropriate 12bit 5+MSPS ADC.

Can you suggest suitable opamp and adc for reducing range.
I cam also give +- supply upto +-5v if required

Hi Vindhyachal

Please take a look at Figure 2 of the ADS804 datasheet. I think that combination including the OPA691 is very close to what you are looking for. The CMOS output drivers of the ADS804 can operate with 5V or 3V I/O supply.
