ADS1298 TQFP chip any news on when it will be out I have a 40 pin carrier board aproaching completion as a open source kicad design.
I am hesitent on making a carrier board for a BGA chip I can't see if it was soldered down properly etc...

I just checked with the strategic marketer for this product and they say that they should have samples next week. However, they think the introduction will be in mid-August. I'll try to post again if the schedule changes.

I wonder if I can test the interface with a arduino I know it is not as fast as the internal clock. If I use the internal clock is their a way I can slow it down?

I'm not too familiar with the Arduino (hardware or software options) so I'll defer to someone who knows more about it. However, I do know that the internal clock in the ADS1298 is not adjustable, so it cannot be slowed.
