ADS62P49

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS62P49

hello good morning, i would like to ask iwhat does 2's complementary output mean for ADS62P49? does this mean that the outputs are in binary 2's complementary coding scheme where 0000  represents the BPZ?

  • Paul,

If the device is set to 2's comp either through the SEN pin (parallel mode, table 6 of data sheet) or through register 0x50 bits D2-D1 in serial mode (page 25 of data sheet), the range of the output will be from 1FFFh (8191) to 2000h (-8192). 0000h would be 0 dec.

    Regards,

    Jim
