Hi all,

Please let me know the conversion time from analog to digital of ADS1018 and ADS1118.

The customer using single shot mode.

    Hello Nagai-san,

    The conversion time depends on the data rate. In single-shot mode, once you start the conversion, the ideal conversion time should be 1/ DR (data-rate). We need to add additional 10% for internal oscillator variation. In addition, we need to add 25 us power-up time.

    For data rate of 3.3 kSPS, worst case conversion time = 1/(0.9 x 3.3 kSPS) + 25 us
    = 337 us + 25 us
    = 362 us

    The device also offers a DRDY (data-ready) feature that provides a conversion ready interrupt when a conversion is complete. Please refer to the datasheet for more details.
