Two Electrode Configuration - ADS1293 EVM

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1293

Dear Community,

I'm currently using the ADS1293 EVM-Board and I want to measure the heart rate with only two electrodes using the standard ADS1293 v1.2.3 software with the standard 3-lead configuration, but only two electrodes on input 1 and input 2. The board is connected trough a standard usb cable to the pc. As a result I'm getting a signal with a lot of noise (see picture below), respectively the signal from channel 1 is often hitting exactly the zero-line. Why is the software always displaying zeros or trying to jump back to the zero line? Is this maybe some kind of error message? What is the two electrode suitable configuration?

Thank you very much!

Pavlos
