DAC088S085, VREF1.2 of input range

Dear Specialists,

My customer is considering DAC088S085 and has a question.

Could you please advise?

(1)According to the datasheet anas424D, VREF1.2 of input range is

2.7Vmin 0.5Vtyp VAmax

Is this true? I think it's incorrect.

(2)Oh the other hand, DAC088S085 (National Semiconductor Version) describes

Input range minimum 0.5Vtyp 2.7Vmax

Input range maximum VAmax

I think this is correct.

If so, could you please revise with next version

Hello Shinichi,

The way it is shown in the SNAS424D document is awkward. The max value for VREF1,2 is VA. The min value is 2.7V. The typical of 0.5V means that it will typically work down to 0.5V. The National Semiconductor document shows this better. I will start the process of updating the datasheet.

I think a description of VREF is difficult to understand and It may be the same as other customer.

If possible, could you revise to National version.
