AMC7812B SPI timing question

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AMC7812B
Hi Team,
  1. In AMC7812B datasheet, maximum output data valid time is 20ns.
Is this same with any SPI clock frequency?
For example 6.25MHz and 50MHz SCLK valid output maximum time is same?

  2. When measure rise/fall time, did we measure with 10% - 90%, 20% - 80% or VIH/VIL threshold?

Thank you.

Best Regards,
Jade

  • Jade,

    1) This is correct, the maximum output data valid time is 20ns, while the minimum is 3ns. This output data valid time is independent of SCLK frequencies, and is only dependent on the rising edge of SCLK.

    2) Rise time/ Fall time parameters are generally recorded with 10%-90% thresholds.

    Best Regards,
