TSW1400 Firmware with ADS5474EVM and AFE5803EVM

Hello,

We are using AFE5803EVM as well as ADS5474EVM and TSW1400 for data collection and export. Here we meet 2 questions:

Firstly, is the Quartus project in the TI website(www.ti.com/.../slwc115) the most recent stable version? If not, could someone offer us the newer stable version?

Then, for the specified 2 ADCs, what modifications will we make towards the Quartus project to compile the right .rbf file? For example, the defines.vh and so on. If there is a tutorial/guide to help people modify the Quartus project in order to compile the project for any specified EVM board, that will be great.

    Hi Solo,

    The firmware project is provided just as a reference point, and is not supported by TI. We do not have the appropriate resources to support firmware modifications.

    However, if you look at the defines.vh file under the ver directory you will see which line to enable to generate the different firmwares.

    Hi Ken,

    Thanks for your reply. For the first question, we just want to make sure the current firmware source(Rev 2 6-10-12) is the version attached in HSDC Pro software. Or the firmware can be used in HSDC Pro even if it's an older version.

    For the second question, we know the INTERFACE_ID will be 8'd21 for ADS5474 and 8'd18 for AFE5803, the ADC_BM0 will be 8'd3 for ADS5474 and 8'd10 for AFE5803. Is that right? And we are not clear about the DDR definition choice, could you tell us the right value?

    The firmware is the latest and should work with HSDC Pro.

    We will look into these other questions and get back with you.
