Can ADS1293 work with Ceramic Resonators?

Hi,

As you know, the size of 4.096Mhz crystal is too big to be fit in some portable application. I am wondering if it is possible to use 4MHz ceramic resonators to work with ADS1293?

Hi John,

We have not tried this but it seems that it should work. They have a looser frequency tolerance, you will need to determine if that affects how your design works.

Thank you Mike. I think it is worthy of a test. As I known most of application of this device is not very sensitive to the frequency tolerance (or it can be easily calibrated), while they are very sensitive to size. 4MHz crystal is always big size.
