We want to know the deviation of 3σ for ADS7822 & ADS7841.

Could you provide it about the following?

-INL

-DNL

-Offset error

-Gain error

    Hi,

    In ADS7822 and ADS7841, the parameters - INL, DNL, Offset error and Gain Error are guaranteed. By guaranteed I mean, the minimum and maximum limits for these parameters are specified.
    No device, over the specified operating conditions, will exceed these guaranteed limits.

    Hence, the information provided in the data-sheet encapsulates the standard-deviation information.

    Does the typical value on TI datasheet indicate the value of 3-sigma or 1-sigma?

    Hi,

    The typical value in the datasheet will account for 1 standard deviation.

    Is there something specific about these parameters that I could help you with?

    Then, if we want 3-sigma, we can estimate it as three times of typical value, can't we? (3-sigma value = 3 x typ value?)

    Hi,

    That will not be correct because the typical value is not 1 standard deviation alone. It is (mean +- 1 standard deviation).
    For example, a device with typical SNR 70dB will not have 210dB as 3 standard deviations.
