AFE5816 Power supply 1.8 and 1.9V

Hi,

I would like to ask you a basic question about power supply.

Is it possible to use 1P8(1.8V) supply for 1P9(1.9V) and vice versa?

That is to say, I would like to use 1.8V for both 1P8 and 1P9.

Because both 1.8V and 1.9V specification are same at min and max value.

And it is also possible to use 3.3V supply for 3P15(3.15V)??

(Max spec of 3P15 is 3.3V.)

    I checked the datasheet again and I noticed that 1.8V(1P8) is for ADC die and 1.9V(1P9) is for VCA die.
    So I think that we should not use common power supply for 1.8V and 1.9V.

    About 3.15V(3P15), as this is for VCA die, we should also prepare 3.15V independently.
    Is my idea correct?

    Hi Takumi-san,

    As you can refer from the AFE5816 datasheet, it is recommended to set the AVDD_3P15 voltage nominally at 3.15V and design the power rail to have variation of less than +/- 150mV.
    Having a higher > 3.3 V supply will lead to functional failure of CW mode. Therefore max limit of supply is kept to 3.3 V.
