ADS7040IRURG (is being used to check status of the battery) is compatible with the battery ,don't it ?

Now I used ADS7040IRURG which is being used to check status of the battery .I using coil Battery CR2450 for design. I have a question . I can use ADS7040IRURG to check status of the  coil battery CR 2450 ,don't it ?

    Hi Toan,

    You can monitor the status of CR2450 battery using ADS7040. The nominal battery voltage is 3V whereas ADS7040 supports a wide input dynamic range from 1.65V to 3.6V.

    You can interface the battery monitoring circuit directly with ADS7040, without using a driver op-amp as shown in the figure below. This will ensure the system power, for battery monitoring, is few micro-watts. You can find more details about the circuit in the data-sheet of ADS7040.
