ADS8861EVM-PDK: USB Driver not found Windows 8.1

Part Number: ADS8861EVM-PDK

The software (latest ADCpro as of mid December 2016 ) and ADC plugin install but an error is flagged stating that USB driver is not found. Re-installed several times, looked for the driver folder and tried to install the driver manually this fails as well so still no comms with the dev kit. I am using Windows 8.1. The hardware is listed as a Generic Bulk Device under Windows Devices and Printers with the driver not found/missing. The PDK hardware looks health with 3 LEDs (on flashing fast, one flashing slow and one constantly On). Ther are no lit LEDs in the ADC board.

Uninstalled the software and re-installed it again. Upon installing the ADCpro plugin, the error is flagged: "could not find LibUSB0.dll"

Any help please?

Tried Windows 7 Enterprise. Still, the constant nag error that appears is: "The Firmware load has failed due to a timeout condition. Please reset hardware to continue loading the firmware". The board is still listed as "Generic Bulk Device" under Devices and Printers. The driver is not loaded in any case (Code 28 under windows 7).
Any chance of getting some TI help?

Hello Med,

Please try the following driver installer (based on your OS) that contain ADS88x1 USBStyx driver installation for Windows7 and let us know if you continue to have problems.

The link has worked.

The second message afterwards includes: "An Error occured with error code 6070 libmmb0.lvlib:EEPROM Read .vi<ERR> Unbale to Read EEPROM"
