I recently purchased the SM73201-ARC-EV/NOPB Arc Evaluation Development Kit.
When I power the unit on (6V on J11, Ground of J10), I do not get the proper LED pattern after bootup.
As described in the document "AN-2154 RD-195 DC Arc Detection Evaluation Board.pdf", the proper LED pattern after bootup is GREEN LED is on, YELLOW LED is blinking, RED LED is off.
When I power up the unit none of the LEDS (D1, D2, D3) light at all. The only LEDS that light are D4 (+3.3V Status) and D5 (+5V Status).
In addition, when I try to communicate over the RS-232 port, I get no communication whatsoever. I even swapped the TX/RX connections just in case, but no communication.
Why is the unit not booting up correctly?
Is it possible that the software was not pre-loaded on the evaluation board?
Any insight/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
