Hi Sirs,
Would you pls advise the example code (or recommended I2C configurations) to bring up the AMC6821 on customer's system, since there is no EVM available for reference.
Thank you and Best regards,
Wayne Chen

Howdy Wayne,
Thank you for the post. I don't believe there is any example code for the AMC6821 device. I can definitely investigate and verify the recommended configuration settings during initialization. This may take a few days to a week to verify, but I'll update this post as soon as I find out this information.
Additionally, there is an EVM existing for the device, but unfortunately, the drivers for the software are only compatible with Windows XP operating systems. Nevertheless, the EVM's User Guide is a great resource for understanding device operation, and may have the answers you are looking for:

Hi Wayne,
Since most of the LEDs are active, I'm assuming that JMP6 is connected to pins 1-2 (USB powering on-board regulators) is this something you can verify? --I'm not entirely sure of the location of the jumpers from the image.
Page 17 of the EVM User's Guide also displays required Setting Configurations for device communication. Please let me know if this corrects the issue.
Best Regards,
Matt
Howdy Wayne,
Can you verify the SW-2 locations and verify that it is set to the default locations listed in Table 3 of page 17 of the EVM User's Guide:

Howdy Wayne,
It looks like the board is receiving power correctly, one additional check is to probe the voltage on VDD. Are you able to write to and read from any registers? Are you having issues with device communication, or is this post related to FAN functionality?
Best Regards,
Matt
