Hello,

I am trying to connect my MSP430 to the AFE4404EVM and I have the steps that I need to take to do this but I am having an issue figuring out what is the best way to connect to the test point. It is impossible to solder a wire. How would you recommend doing this?

Hi Victoria,

Soldering a wire is the only way to access the digital pins of AFE4404 in the EVM.

Hi Prabin,

I connected my msp430 launch pad and evm together and only the evm is turning on when power is supplied via USB. Any idea what the problem could be?

Hi victoria,

I am assuming you connected MSP430 launch pad and AFE4404EVM to two different USB Port and only EVM is powered on.
If yes, could you please check MSP430 launchpad for some short. Your PC will shut off the USB port connected to launchpad if it is taking more current due to short circuit.
